Around 243 Telugu films are currently published annually, with around 3 releases each week. Telugu film sector generates all types of films like any other film sector. However, every year an average amount of decent films are still available. In 2005, the annual sales of 700 million tickets exceeded Rs. 2,3 trillion ($52 million). In the three holiday seasons of the region, popular films tend to open: Sankranthi, Summer and Dushera. In the Sankranthi season in 2004 the complete turnover was approximately Rs. 1.5 trillion (150 crores).There are at least three television channels solely devoted to Telugu film programs.

Mosagallaku Mosagadu (1971)-The first Indian, the Telugu film, Mosagallaku Mosagadu made an Action Western (Gender). It was made by G. Directed by K, Adiseshagiri Rao. S. R. Das under Sri Padmalaya’s banner in 1971. The film included the following films: Krishna Superstar, Viyaa Nirmala (Heroin), Nagabhushanam, Satyanarayana, Reddy M. Prabhakar, Gopal Rao, Lakshmi and more. The tale was torn off by Arudra from western films without recognizing any of the films. Festivals like Good, Bad, Ugly, For a Few Dollars More, Mackenna’s Gold etc. inspire the idea of the movie. Alluri Sitaramaraju (1974)- The freedom fighter, is a farmer and tribal savior. He insurges the British Raj, whose rights to land have been violated. Alluri Seetarama Raju is a 1974 Indian teluguese biographical action film based on the life of Alluri Sitarama Raju, an Indian revolutionary well-known for his role in the 1922–24 Rampa Rebellion, and the Indian independence movement tribal leader, Gam Malludora, during the Madras Presidency. Raju fought an armed rebellion against the British Raj, who violated their land rights and used them to force labour. Raju was part of a farmers ‘ group, tribal leaders and other supporters. The film is made by the studios of Padmalaya as Ghattamaneni Krishna’s 100th film. This film was recorded as a hit in the box office in its collections.
Sankarabharanam (1979)-This classic by K. Viswanath is a route to breaking through the tale and is commonly remembered for its excellent soundtrack by K. Viswanath, but the underestimated film of Balu Mahendra merits much more praise
Sankarabharanam is a musical dramatic film written and directed by K Viswanath from the Indian Telugu in 1980. Jagadekaveerudu Athiloka Sundhari (1990)-The 1990 Indian Telugu language supernatural fantasy film, directed by K, was made by Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. Screenplay by Rao and Jandhyala Raghavendra Rao. The movie stars in the leading roles Sridevi and Chiranjeevi. The supporting roles are Amrish Puri, Kannada Prabhakar, Allu Ramalingaiah and Rami Reddy. The film was the first partnership between frequent employees C. And Chiranjijeevi and Ashwini Dutt.
